The work
Google wanted to increase usage of its G+ app by promoting its gif-making ability. Our task was to show how easy it was to add a little magic to your pics in the form of a gif.
We piloted the project in Italy. Online media did the the education part, and engagement came in the form of ‘media first’ interactive ad units that ‘popped-up’ in the most photographed places across Italy, allowing passers-by to create and share their gifs on the spot.
All the gifs were featured on the G+ Italy page and users became the stars of our advertising.
Further to this, a real life gallery in Venice exhibited the best of the best.
